As a NYC-based, empathetic and intuitive LGBTQ+ affirming licensed psychotherapist, I work with clients to help each unique individual grow through what they go through. In doing so, I assist my clients in facing challenges with a new found strength and support them in understanding that, with growth, comes discomfort. Sessions are conducted in a relaxed, non-judgemental environment that encourages each client to share feelings, release stress, and co-create action steps to help develop more satisfying and fulfilling lives.  Together, we will work to build a personalized plan designed to minimize self doubt and maximize personal success, ultimately creating a happier and healthier you.

GREEN GROW THRU

In 2008, I received my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University, and also received training in psychoanalytic theory from the Training Institute for Mental Health in New York City.  In 2015, under the direction of Dr. Myra Weiss, I studied Mindfulness Meditation — a way deepening one’s attention span — that originated in Eastern meditation practices.  I also received certification in both Applied Positive Psychology in 2016 and Positive Psychology-based coaching in 2018 through the Flourishing Center in NYC. In 2021, I completed training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) through IFSCA.  In addition, that same year, I also completed EMDRIA Approved EMDR Basic Training through the Parnell Institute, which specializes in Attachment-Focused EMDR.

In the eight years prior to opening my practice full-time, I worked as the Clinical Director at LearningSpring School in Manhattan, which is designed for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, grades K-8. Throughout my extensive work with children and families, I saw first-hand the tremendous impact the diagnosis had on the entire family unit. It was through this experience that I realized my purpose was to help people in working towards achieving their greatest potential, no matter what life may have in store.

Additionally, I have been personally participating in a brain retraining program called Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS) for the past year, learning to rewire the limbic system and living all things neuroplasticity.
